Sachin Tendulkar
Sachin Tendulkar, often referred to as the "Little Master" or the "God of Cricket," was born on April 24, 1973, in Mumbai, India. From a young age, it was evident that Sachin possessed an extraordinary talent for cricket. His journey from a cricket-loving child to becoming one of the greatest batsmen in the history of the sport is nothing short of inspirational.
Sachin's interest in cricket blossomed under the guidance of his elder brother, Ajit Tendulkar. At the age of 11, he joined the Shardashram Vidyamandir School, where he met his coach and mentor, Ramakant Achrekar. It was Achrekar who recognized Sachin's potential and honed his skills, ensuring he received the right guidance to flourish in the sport.
In 1988, at the age of 15, Sachin made his debut for the Indian national team in a Test match against Pakistan. Despite facing a formidable bowling attack, he showcased remarkable composure and skill, giving a glimpse of the brilliance that would define his career. His debut, however, was just the beginning of a cricketing saga that would span over two decades.
